What We Do
When your pool equipment stops working, we find the problem and fix it properly.
We've been repairing pool equipment across Guelph, Fergus, Elora, Rockwood, Acton, and Wellington County since 2006. As authorized Hayward and Pentair service technicians, we know the equipment, carry common parts on the truck, and diagnose accurately before recommending any repair or replacement.
We service all major brands. Fixed quote before any work begins. We repair equipment we installed and equipment we didn't.

We repair variable speed and single speed pumps, cartridge and sand filters, gas and heat pump heaters, automation and control systems, LED and incandescent lighting, salt chlorinators, and chemical feeders. We carry common parts for Hayward and Pentair equipment on the truck which means most repairs are completed in a single visit.
If a part needs to be ordered we will tell you upfront, give you a timeline, and book the repair visit before we leave. No repeat diagnosis fees. No surprises on the invoice.

Pool Equipment Repair FAQ
Your pool equipment repair questions, answered.
How do I know if my pool pump needs to be repaired or replaced?
Common signs that a pool pump needs attention include unusual noise such as grinding or screeching, loss of suction or flow, the pump running but not circulating water, tripping the circuit breaker, or visible leaks around the seal. Whether repair or replacement makes more sense depends on the age of the pump, the cost of the repair, and the availability of parts. Pristine Pools diagnoses the issue on site and gives you an honest recommendation before any work begins.
How do I know if my pool heater needs repair?
Signs that a pool heater needs repair include the heater failing to ignite, error codes on the display, the heater cycling on and off without reaching temperature, unusual smells during operation, or the water not reaching the set temperature despite the heater running. Pristine Pools services all major gas and heat pump heater brands and carries common parts on the truck for Hayward and Pentair equipment.
Can you repair pool equipment you did not install?
Yes. Pristine Pools repairs pool equipment across Wellington County regardless of who installed it. As authorized Hayward and Pentair service technicians we are qualified to service and repair all major brands. If you are unsure of your equipment brand or model, have the information from the equipment label ready when you call and we will confirm parts availability before booking the visit.
How long does a pool equipment repair take?
Most pool equipment repairs are completed in a single visit. Pristine Pools carries common parts for Hayward and Pentair equipment on the truck which allows most pump, filter, and heater repairs to be diagnosed and fixed the same day. If a part needs to be ordered we provide a timeline and book the repair visit before leaving. Complex repairs involving multiple components or custom order parts may require a follow up visit.
What pool equipment brands do you service?
Pristine Pools services all major pool equipment brands including Hayward, Pentair, Jandy, Zodiac, Sta-Rite, and Raypak. As authorized Hayward and Pentair service technicians we carry OEM parts for those brands on the truck. For other brands we source parts through our supply network. We will confirm parts availability for your specific equipment model before booking the repair visit.
Should I repair or replace my old pool equipment?
The decision to repair or replace pool equipment depends on the age of the equipment, the cost of the repair relative to the replacement cost, and parts availability. Equipment that is more than 10 to 15 years old and requiring a major repair is often more cost effective to replace, particularly if newer models offer significant energy savings. Pristine Pools gives you an honest assessment on site and will not recommend a replacement unless it genuinely makes more financial sense than the repair.
Can pool equipment be repaired during pool season?
Yes. Pristine Pools prioritizes equipment repair calls during pool season since a non-functioning pump or heater means the pool cannot be used safely. We triage service calls during pool season and aim to respond within 48 hours across Wellington County. If you have an urgent equipment failure during peak season contact us directly by phone for the fastest response.
